Lufthansa Technik Engine Services (LTES) is nearly doubling its engine services capacity in Tulsa, Oklahoma, increasing the number of work bays to 46 from 28 as it expands its presence in the Americas.
The expanded facility will support V2500, CFM56-5B/7B, Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8/8C and GTF engines. A dedicated module shop is also planned to broaden the site’s service offering, streamline operations and reduce turnaround times. The project is expected to create more than 100 jobs by 2030.
The investment will increase LTES’s capacity and technical capabilities, enabling the company to provide more flexible and efficient support as demand for engine maintenance services grows across the Americas.
The Tulsa facility, formerly known as BizJet International, initially specialised in engine overhauls and field maintenance for Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8/8C engines used in business jets. It continues to support the Tay-engine family while serving as a key hub in Lufthansa Technik’s Mobile Engine Services (MES) network.
The site now also provides services for V2500, CFM56-5B/7B and GTF engines and operates an advanced fully digital engine test cell.
