US air medical operator Life Flight Network has ordered five Airbus H135 helicopters, bringing its total orders for the type to eight following a purchase of three aircraft in 2025.
The twin-engine helicopters will support emergency medical transport across Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana, expanding the operator’s capacity to transport critically ill and injured patients.
The aircraft will feature modern flight decks and dedicated medical space, supporting crews operating across the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West.
“Every investment in our fleet is an investment in the patients and communities who count on us,” said Ben Clayton, Chief Executive of Life Flight Network. “
The H135’s safety features and medical capabilities are suited to operations across regions characterised by mountain ranges, remote communities and long distances, Clayton said, adding that the company would continue its partnership with Airbus as it expands access to critical care across its service areas, including Hawaii.
