Malcolm Chandler is joining Vallair as MRO Sales Director – Lessors & Airlines, bringing him back to the company in a senior leadership role after gaining international experience in the aviation sector.
Chandler will oversee commercial activities across Vallair’s MRO operations at its facilities in Châteauroux and Montpellier, France, covering airframes, engines and aerostructures.
His priorities include improving efficiency, supporting business growth and strengthening customer and partner relationships. He will work with the company’s MRO and commercial teams to streamline workflows and implement restructuring measures across its airframe services.
These services include base maintenance, lease transfers, aircraft parking and storage, painting and teardown. Vallair holds maintenance approvals for the Airbus A330ceo/neo, A340-300/-600 and A320ceo/neo families, as well as Boeing 737 aircraft. The company plans to progressively extend its approvals to additional new-generation narrow-body and wide-body aircraft.
Chandler will also oversee commercial activities related to engine storage, part-out and light repairs, alongside aerostructures services.
Vallair specialises in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, as well as mature aircraft asset management.
