Boeing and aircraft leasing company Icelease have agreed an order for one 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF), with options for up to two additional aircraft, as the lessor expands its freighter portfolio.
Induction of the first aircraft is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, with delivery of the converted freighter expected in the second quarter. Boeing will carry out the conversion at ST Engineering‘s airframe maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities in Singapore.
Over its 21-year history, Icelease has developed expertise in aircraft acquisitions, leasing, operations, financing and investor relations. The company has established relationships with commercial airlines, aircraft lessors, brokers and financial institutions worldwide.
Icelease shares common majority ownership with its sister company, Dublin-based IAT Leasing. Since its incorporation in late 2023, IAT Leasing has built a portfolio of around 40 narrowbody and widebody passenger and cargo aircraft. The aircraft are owned by four equity partners and leased to airlines worldwide.
