Aveos and Air Canada extend engine repair agreement until 2018

Aveos Fleet Performance, formerly ACTS, announced that Aveos and Air Canada have agreed to extend the maintenance services agreement for the CFM56-5A and 5B engines – the carrier’s largest engine family – through to the end of 2018. Alan Butterfield, Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering at Air Canada commented that “this agreement with Aveos is beneficial to Air Canada since it extends our relationship with Aveos, an engine maintenance provider with great knowledge and an excellent track record on CFM56 engine overhaul and repair; and provides added flexibility to manage our costs.”
