Airbus Helicopters has officially opened its new integrated distribution centre in the Niagara region of Ontario, Canada. The 21,000 ft² facility is designed to support industrial activities and expand the company’s spare parts storage capabilities, boosting efficiency across operations.
The launch of the new centre reflects Airbus Helicopters’ ongoing dedication to Ontario and the wider Canadian aerospace industry. It is expected to help sustain over 300 highly skilled roles, reinforcing the company’s well-established presence in the country’s aerospace sector. In addition, Airbus is continuing to strengthen its partnerships with Canadian suppliers and distributors, building on the strong collaboration already present in the region.

Demand remains strong for Airbus’ range of twin-engine helicopters, particularly the H135, recently selected by the Ontario Provincial Police and the Royal Canadian Air Force as part of the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) programme. The new Niagara facility will support the expansion of activities at the nearby Fort Erie site, helping to accommodate increased demand for helicopter completions and customisation.
The distribution centre will enhance inventory management and streamline logistics, providing critical support for operations such as component repair and overhaul, manufacturing of composite materials, and spare parts services.
