Saab President and CEO Micael Johansson said the appointment reflects the company’s commitment to staying ahead in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. “Technology research and partnerships are strategic priorities for Saab to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation,” he noted. “Marcus has an exceptional record in technology and innovation and is a strong, visionary leader.”
The new function aims to integrate strategic foresight with advanced technology development, positioning Saab for long-term growth. It will also enhance collaboration across business areas and accelerate innovation initiatives through external partnerships and targeted investments.
