APOC Aviation appointed Darren Naughton as vice president of engines, expanding its leadership team as the aircraft parts and leasing specialist seeks to grow its global engine leasing and trading business.
Naughton joins the company with 13 years of experience in aircraft and engine leasing, having held commercial, pricing and trading roles at aircraft and engine lessors. He will lead APOC’s engines division, overseeing leasing, exchanges, teardowns and component sales while working with airlines, lessors, MRO providers and OEMs.
The appointment comes as demand for green-time engine leasing continues to rise, driven by higher maintenance, repair and overhaul costs, labour shortages and ongoing supply chain constraints. APOC said it aims to capitalise on those market conditions by expanding its engine capabilities alongside its airframe, landing gear and component businesses.
The company said its engine strategy will remain broad, focusing on disciplined asset management, customer partnerships and opportunities across different engine types and geographic markets.
