Azorra has acquired an Airbus A330-200 (MSN 1161) from TrueNoord, marking the latest addition to its wide-body portfolio.
The aircraft is currently on lease to Maldivian Airlines, the flag carrier of the Maldives, adding a new airline customer and operating jurisdiction to the company’s global portfolio.
The transaction builds on Azorra’s expansion into wide-body aircraft following acquisitions of Airbus A330s and Boeing 777-300ERs in 2023. Over the past three years, the lessor has actively managed the segment through lease extensions and aircraft transitions to new operators.
Azorra’s portfolio now comprises 194 owned and managed aircraft, including six wide bodies. The company said it continues to pursue opportunities offering strong long-term value and demand while maintaining a disciplined approach to portfolio management.
