General Atomics AeroTec Systems (GA-ATS) has partnered with Sweden’s TRAKKA Systems to offer the TrakkaCam TC-375 imaging system as an integrated equipment option for the Do228 NXT.
The agreement expands the sensor and mission equipment portfolio available for the German manufacturer’s next-generation multi-purpose aircraft, which completed its first flight and made its public debut in June 2026.
The gyro-stabilised TrakkaCam TC-375 is a multispectral imaging system designed for surveillance and reconnaissance missions. It provides full-HD imagery during day and night operations and supports real-time detection and identification of targets.
The system can capture high-resolution imagery and video for applications requiring rapid in-mission decision-making.
GA-ATS is positioning the Do228 NXT, the latest generation of the Dornier 228, for a range of special-mission applications. The TRAKKA partnership adds another sensor option as the manufacturer expands the aircraft’s mission capabilities.
