QOCO Systems and Rolls-Royce are expanding QOCO’s intelligent data service, which provides real-time airline operator data to Rolls-Royce systems to support engine reliability and maintenance operations.
Delivered through QOCO’s Aviadex platform, the service now covers tens of additional operators, with the aim of supporting the entire in-service modern Trent fleet and extending coverage to legacy engine types.
The Rolls-Royce Trent family is a leading long-haul engine franchise, powering Airbus A350 and A330neo aircraft and a substantial share of Boeing 787s worldwide.
The service forms part of Rolls-Royce’s strategy to expand the use of digital technology across its aftermarket operations. By combining automated data exchange with its analytics and optimisation capabilities, Rolls-Royce can improve engine reliability, troubleshooting and overhaul turnaround times, while developing additional digital services for customers.
QOCO’s service currently supports the majority of Rolls-Royce’s operational modern Trent fleet, measured by both the number of operators onboarded and engine volume. More than 40 operators are live on the platform, with further operators in the pipeline.
The solution consolidates reliable, accurate and timely data from multiple sources across the airline operator network. QOCO also provides the data management capabilities required for the critical processes that depend on this information.
QOCO has been Rolls-Royce’s digitalisation partner since 2018, when it began supporting the company’s ‘Blue Data Thread’ digitalisation programme and its ‘Intelligent Engine’ vision. By automating and standardising data exchange, QOCO helps reduce integration effort and improve transparency for airlines.
