China Airlines has selected REVIMA to provide long-term maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) support for the airline’s APS5000 auxiliary power unit (APU) fleet on its Boeing 787 aircraft.
Under the agreement, REVIMA will provide Power by the Hour (PBTH) support, covering APU and line-replaceable unit (LRU) repairs as well as predictive maintenance services.
“Ours is a long-term agreement structured to provide maximum value to China Airlines, from top-quality support to best-in-class lifecycle management of its B787 APU fleet,” said Olivier Legrand, president and chief executive of REVIMA.
REVIMA will also provide China Airlines with access to its digital services portfolio, including Predicare, Effifuel, Opticooling and Optipower, aimed at improving ground operations efficiency.
Legrand said REVIMA was “extremely proud” to have been selected by China Airlines, describing the Taiwan-based carrier as a premium international airline with strong safety and passenger satisfaction ratings.
