ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace business and Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, have signed three multi-year agreements to expand component support for airline operators, building on their longstanding relationship.
The agreements introduce new collaboration on component repairs and extend existing arrangements covering spare parts procurement and lifecycle repairs. Together, they will combine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) expertise to provide airlines with component repairs designed to support aircraft dispatch and reduce turnaround times.
Under the new agreement, ST Engineering will provide repair services for Collins fan assembly electronics boards used on Boeing 787 aircraft. The arrangement is intended to reduce turnaround times for line-replaceable unit (LRU) repairs and improve efficiency by offering repair rather than replacement solutions to airlines and operators.
ST Engineering has also extended and expanded a multi-platform agreement to procure new Power & Controls spare parts from Collins for its LRU component MRO operations. The broader arrangement adds more narrowbody aircraft components to ST Engineering’s portfolio, supporting OEM-standard component repair services.
Furthermore, the companies have also extended their collaboration on LRU component repairs for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 family aircraft through Collins’ FlightSense aftermarket support programme.
