FL Technics Indonesia has received European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-145 approval for its maintenance facility in Bali, allowing it to service aircraft registered in the European Union.
The certification makes the facility one of a small number of MRO providers in Indonesia to hold EASA approval.
The approval covers base and line maintenance for Airbus A320 family aircraft, including the CEO and NEO variants, and Boeing 737 Classic, Next Generation and MAX aircraft.
The company has previously provided maintenance services for aircraft registered across the Americas, Asia, Africa and Australia. The new certification enables the Bali facility to serve European carriers operating under EASA regulatory requirements.
The approval followed technical and quality audits by EASA inspectors covering the facility’s infrastructure, tooling systems and engineering workforce.
Located at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, the 17,000 m² facility comprises three hangars with three aircraft bays and a 2,000 m² booth. It provides airframe maintenance services aimed at reducing aircraft downtime while meeting regulatory and safety requirements.
