Airbus and Air France have established Alpha Component Solutions, a 50-50 joint venture dedicated to component support for the A350-aircraft family.
The venture, jointly operated by Airbus and Air France-KLM, will manage a worldwide shared-access pool of aircraft components, providing maintenance services, supply chain management and repairs for A350 operators globally.
Combining Airbus’ Flight Hours Services (FHS) with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M), the venture aims to meet growing long-term component maintenance requirements as the global A350 fleet expands.
Alpha Component Solutions already has contractual support agreements covering more than 500 aircraft. Its global footprint is designed to serve both existing and new operators in the growing market.
The venture aims to improve component reliability, streamline lifecycle maintenance and provide tailored support through integrated maintenance and advanced supply chain capabilities.
The partnership reflects the companies’ shared focus on improving operational resilience and providing reliable, fleet-ready services to A350 operators throughout the aircraft’s lifecycle.
