Aeroitalia has selected Delta TechOps to provide component support for its Boeing 737 fleet, as the US maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider expands its business with European airlines.
Announced at MRO Europe in Amsterdam on October 28, the agreement gives the Italian carrier access to Delta TechOps’ component maintenance expertise and materials resources to improve fleet reliability and aircraft availability as it grows.
The deal builds on an existing relationship between the airlines. In 2025, Aeroitalia announced new connectivity opportunities linking its domestic Italian network with Delta’s global network. The latest agreement extends the relationship into maintenance and technical operations.
The contract adds to Delta TechOps’ expanding component support portfolio, following recent agreements with airline customers in Europe and the Americas. The company said demand for component support solutions was increasing as airlines sought to maximise fleet reliability and aircraft availability.
Delta recently reported US$1 billion in MRO revenue year to date, reflecting demand for its maintenance expertise, operational experience and customer service.
