Dubai South has signed an agreement with Phoenix Aviation for a new airside plot at Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), where the companies plan to establish a centre of excellence for wide-body aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), cabin modifications and completion, and cargo conversions.
The development will address growing demand for specialised aviation services and further strengthen MBRAH’s position as a regional aerospace hub.
The agreement was signed during MRO Europe in Amsterdam, in the presence of Nabil Alkindi, Group Chief Executive of Dubai South, and Julian Ehrhard, President and Chief Executive of Phoenix Aviation.
