Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey and PSA Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group operating under the American Eagle brand, have signed a new multi-year agreement covering maintenance and support services for the US regional carrier’s CF34-8 engines.
The contract extends a customer relationship spanning more than 26 years. Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik, will continue providing a range of services, including maintenance, performance restoration shop visits, on-site support, life-limited part replacement and module shop visits.
PSA Airlines operates 60 CRJ700 and 94 CRJ900 aircraft, all powered by CF34-8 engines. The carrier is one of North America’s largest regional airlines.
The partnership is among the longest-standing customer relationships in Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey’s CF34 engine business. Over more than two decades, the cooperation has developed alongside PSA Airlines’ fleet growth and operational requirements.
