Robinson Helicopter Company delivered two R44 Cadet helicopters (S/Ns 30006 and 30007) to SKY Helicopters, an FAA part 141 flight school, and Robinson’s dealer in Garland, Texas. According to SKY’s President Ken Pyatt, the affordability of the Cadet along with the optional glass technology, HeliSAS Autopilot and air conditioning make it a very appealing trainer.

Frontier is the first U.S. airline to receive an A320neo with CFM engines, and the aircraft is the first of 80 A320neo Family aircraft the low-cost carrier has ordered. Pratt & Whitney’s PurePower Geared Turbofan (GTF) engine has entered passenger service with Spirit Airlines, which is the first U.S. carrier to fly the Airbus A320neo. The aircraft made its first passenger service flight from Detroit to Los Angeles on Sunday, Oct. 16.
Engine Lease Finance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Lease and Finance, reported the sale and lease back of its first LEAP engine with Frontier Airlines as lessee. This is the first spare engine delivered under the LEAP program which has already amassed an order book in excess of 10,800 engines.
HAECO Xiamen reported the redelivery of its first Boeing 757-200 passenger-to-freighter conversion aircraft for China Postal Airlines. The package represents the largest ever single aftermarket aircraft/spares transaction for the Saab 340. The spares inventory of more than 11,000 line items will be relocated to AIR’s main facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.
