VTB Leasing has taken delivery of its AW139 medium twin helicopter. This aircraft will be used to perform corporate and passenger transport missions in the region of Moscow. GECAS announced the signing of a sale-leaseback agreement with Istanbul-based Pegasus Airlines for the delivery of four new Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Deliveries are all scheduled for this month. Pegasus, a scheduled and charter operator, is the second largest airline in Turkey, serving 100 destinations in 17 countries
Qatar Airways announced orders for three 777 Freighters and two 777-300ERs. The orders are valued at $1.4 billion at list prices. The 777 Freighter order was previously accounted for on Boeing’s Orders and Deliveries website as unidentified in 2010. The 777-300ER order was previously accounted for on the Orders and Deliveries website in 2011.
The Russian carrier UTair and regional turboprop manufacturer ATR reported the signature of a contract for the purchase of 20 ATR 72-500s. The announcement of the deal, valued at $426 million, took place in Kiev. With the entry into service of these new aircraft, UTair will respond to the increasing market demand for regional connectivity
