Bombardier Aerospace announced that an airline that has requested to remain unidentified at the present time, has signed a firm purchase agreement for five Q400 NextGen airliners. Based on the list price for the Q400 NextGen airliner, the transaction is valued at approximately $160m.

Jakarta-based Lion Air finalized a firm order for 201 LEAP-1B-powered 737 MAXs and 29 CFM56-7B-powered Next-Generation 737-900ERs (extended range). Boeing announced that the final phase of wind tunnel testing, a major milestone in airplane development, will begin on the 737 MAX program next week.
