Skyworld Aviation reported the sale of an ATR 72- 212, serial number 428 to Helitt of Malaga. Serial number 428 (now re-registered as EC-LNR) was previously in operation with Alitalia Express before being purchased by the Magellan Group. The aircraft flew from Shannon after being repainted, and arrived in Granada on the 14th June 2011.
FLY Leasing Limited, a global lessor of modern, fuel-efficient commercial jet aircraft, has entered into an agreement to purchase a $1.4 billion portfolio of 49 aircraft, increasing FLY’s total aircraft under operating lease to more than $3 billion. Boeing and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) have finalized a firm order for two 747-8 Freighters and eight 777-300ERs (extended range) airplanes. The order marks the completion of an agreement originally announced during the Paris Air Show in June. At list prices, the order is valued at $2.9 billion.

Jackson Square Aviation (“JSA”) reported the first of seven Airbus A320 deliveries to Concesionaria Vuela Compania de Aviacion (“Volaris”). This delivery is in connection with a long-term operating lease, for which DVB Bank SE provided senior debt. JSA has also provided PDP financing to Volaris in connection with this transaction.
