Wataniya Airways, based in, Kuwait City, Kuwait leased one new Airbus A320-200 aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft is powered by CFM56-5B4/3 engines and will deliver in May 2009. The lease term is for 8 years.
Airbus has selected Hamilton Sundstrand to provide the Ram Air Turbine emergency power system for the Airbus A350 XWB. Hamilton Sundstrand estimates total A350 XWB Ram Air Turbine (RAT) system revenues in excess of $500 million over the life of the multi-year program. The RAT system will be designed and manufactured in Rockford, Ill.
