Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT) reported the resignation of Steve Harfst, Chief Operating Officer of Allegiant Air, effective immediately. Harfst joined the Company as COO in December 2014. Prior to Allegiant, Harfst was the Chief Operating Officer at IndiGo Airlines based in New Delhi, India.

Alaska Airlines’ board of directors has elected Kurt Kinder vice president of maintenance and engineering. In his new role, Kinder will lead approximately 1,000 employees and oversee all safety, compliance and operational performance of Alaska’s fleet of 147 Boeing 737s. He will officially begin this position on Jan. 16th, 2016.
