Chinese aircraft lessor ICBC Financial Leasing took delivery of its first of 92 Airbus aircraft, an A320, at a ceremony held in Toulouse, France. ICBC’s A320 is equipped with 180 seats in a single class cabin and powered by CFMI engines. The aircraft will be operated by the low cost carrier Thai Air Asia.
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates has signed a firm order for two additional A330-200 passenger aircraft as part of the carrier’s continued growth plans. International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) has delivered an Airbus A320-200 aircraft to Myanmar Airways International (MAI). This A320 is the first commercial jet aircraft of its type to be provided on an operating lease to an airline in Myanmar by a global aircraft leasing company.
