Allegiant Travel has posted preliminary passenger traffic results for August 2017. Traffic for the month was up 5.3%, while capacity increased 7.2% compared to the previous year. Alaska Air Group has reported August operational results on a consolidated basis. On a combined basis for all operations, Air Group reported a 5.8% increase in traffic on a 5.5% increase in capacity compared to August 2016. Load factor increased 0.4 points to 86.2%.
