Iridium reports strong growth in commercial service revenue

Iridium Communications reported financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. Total revenue increased 7.9% for the first quarter to $81.7 million compared to $75.8 million during the first quarter of 2009. Commercial service revenue increased 11.0% to $40.9 million in the first quarter compared to $36.8 million during the first quarter of 2009.

United Airlines reports April 2010 operational performance

United Airlines reported its preliminary consolidated traffic results for April 2010. Total consolidated traffic increased in April by 0.6% on a decrease of 1.2% in capacity compared with the same period in 2009.
