Air Europa has signed a new contract with AFI KLM E&M to provide and certify Business Class sections on two of its Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The modification covers fitting of 18 Business Class seats, new storage furniture and decorative features, and also involves adapting the IFE to the new aircraft configuration.

Somon Air, Tajikistan’s first private airline, has chosen A J Walter Aviation to provide power-by-the-hour support for its current fleet of B737NG aircraft. This five-year agreement for four aircraft is AJW’s first contract with Somon Air. Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a major supplier of systems and components for critical aerospace and defense applications, has been selected by Goodrich Aerostructures in Chula Vista, Calif. to provide proximity switches and targets to be used within the nacelle assembly on the Rolls Royce Trent XWB powered Airbus A350.

Ameco Beijing started to provide line maintenance for Finnair’s A320 in Chongqing, on May 10th. It’s the third international customer for Ameco in Chongqing outstation, after Qatar Airways and TNT.  Both sides began cooperations in 1997. Besides Chongqing, Ameco Beijing has provided the same service in Guangzhou and Shanghai for Finnair since 2005 and 2009.
