Pinnacle Airlines Corp. reported for the third quarter 2005 an operating loss of $32.4 million and a net loss of $21.4 million. The third quarter loss is primarily due to an after tax charge of approximately $34.5 million for items related to the recent bankruptcy filings of Northwest Airlines (“Northwest”) and Mesaba Airlines (“Mesaba”). On October 31, 2005, Pinnacle removed 15 CRJ aircraft from service and is now operating 124 CRJ aircraft in regularly scheduled service.
