TAP will continue to optimise operations on its routes with the Lido flight plan system from Lufthansa Systems, having recently renewed its contract in advance, for another five years to mid-2017. The agreement also includes the implementation and use of new Lido applications, such as TFR (Traffic Flow Restrictions) management and IFM (Inflight Monitor).
Lido/Flight is part of the Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOCC) platform from Lufthansa Systems. The integrated components of the IOCC platform cover all aspects of flight operations, including schedule management, operations control, crew management, flight planning and weight & balance.
