Aviation training center Baltic Aviation Academy (Lithuania) expanded its capability list by adding Embraer 145 type rating courses and became the first approved type rating training organization (TRTO) in the Baltic region to start training program for this type of aircraft. In May 2010 the Lithuanian Civil Aviation Administration has issued to the Baltic Aviation Academy an approval certificate to operate the type rating training for Embraer ERJ-145 family aircraft (ERJ 135/140/145).
The ground training courses will be organized at Baltic Aviation Academy facilities in Vilnius. Flight training will be carried out on ERJ-145 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) in Paris. The training centre has signed the cooperation agreements with qualified instructors from Sweden, Slovenia and Italy.
