Avolon expands Middle East and Asian customer base

Avolon, the aircraft leasing group, reported the significant growth of its business interests in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions, with the leasing of 26 aircraft to nine leading carriers.  Avolon signed the following lease agreements: one Airbus A320 to Air Arabia – United Arab Emirates, eight Airbus A320s to Indigo – India,  two Airbus A320s to Philippine Airlines – The Philippines, one Airbus A320 to Spring Airlines – China, five Boeing 737-800s to Flydubai – United Arab Emirates, four Boeing 737-800s to Japan Airlines – Japan, one Boeing 737-800 to Skymark – Japan, one Boeing 737-800 to SpiceJet -India and three Boeing 737-800s to Virgin Australia  – Australia. Avolon’s fleet currently stands at over 80 committed aircraft, valued at $ 4.0 billion.
