Hamilton Sundstrand to provide key systems content on Global 7000 and Global 8000 business jets

Bombardier Aerospace has selected Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation to provide key systems content on the new Global 7000 and Global 8000 business jets. Hamilton Sundstrand will provide the aircraft’s electric system, including generation and distribution, the high lift actuation system and the auxiliary power unit system. The variable frequency electric power generation system also comprises primary and secondary power distribution, and a ram air turbine emergency power system. Hamilton Sundstrand will also manage the integration of the aircraft’s entire power system.
