First retrofit of nice system into a Global Express aircraft

The first ever retrofit of a Lufthansa Technik nice cabin management and in-flight entertainment (CMS/IFE) system on a Bombardier Global Express aircraft has been successfully completed in cooperation with H4 Aerospace (UK) Ltd, an EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) Design Organization Approval (DOA). The installation of this innovative system was performed during the 8C-check – the biggest scheduled maintenance event, which is performed on a Global Express aircraft every 10 years. The aircraft owner has opted for a complete refurbishment of the interior. Together with the new interior, the Lufthansa Technik nice system, which has been tailored to the customer’s requirements, was installed to update the cabin to the latest CMS/IFE technologies.
