Pentagon 2000 Software, a leading provider of software solutions for the Aerospace & Defense industry, reported that S&K Aerospace, Parts and Repair Technical Services, and General Dynamics Information Technology, the winners of the US Air Force PROS IV (Parts and Repair Ordering System) program, selected Pentagon 2000SQL to run supply chain and materials managements functions for the program.
The PROS IV contract is the fifth generation non-standard parts ordering program for support of US Department of Defense Logistics Systems. The contract value is estimated at close to $1bn over a five-year period and the program provides for the full range of logistics support to Tri-Service Air Force, Army and Navy Foreign Military Sales customers in over 90 countries.
