British Airways Engineering, Airline Services Components Limited and Messier-Bugatti-Dowty preferred partners for MRO collaboration

British Airways Engineering, a leading Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) provider, has signed a letter of intent with Airline Services Components Limited and Messier-Bugatti-Dowty (Safran group) to partner in the provision of wheels and brakes support services to the civil aviation industry. Subject to contract negotiations, the partnership will see the companies collaborate in the provision of Boeing 787 wheels and brakes support to non-British Airways’ customer airlines. The partnership will encompass engineering services, sales and marketing of the new service as well as joint business development activities. Repair and overhaul services for brakes components will be made available to carriers operating from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Brussels, Amsterdam and Oslo airports as well as at designated British Airways and Airline Services Components line stations.
