Liebherr Aerospace performs first tests for Bombardier CSeries aircraft’s Air Management System

The first tests of the air conditioning system, cabin pressure control system, bleed air system and wing anti-ice system for Bombardier’s CSeries family of aircraft have started at Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France). These components are part of the CSeries airliner’s integrated air management system and are also being delivered to Bombardier’s facilities in Mirabel (Canada), where they will be tested on the company’s Interior and Environmental Control Systems (ECS) rig for the airliner. Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS is responsible for the development of the integrated air management system for the CSeries aircraft, while Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, Lindenberg (Germany), is supplying the landing gear system including all mechanical, hydraulic and electrical hardware and software applications. Liebherr-Aerospace has set up a team of more than 120 engineers for the development of the CSeries aircraft systems. Located in Toulouse, Lindenberg and Montreal (Canada), they ensure the highest efficiency and customer proximity.
