MAINtag creates US subsidiary

MAINtag, a leading provider of RFID solutions for aerospace, has announced the creation of a subsidiary in the United States to serve the American aerospace industry, including aircraft manufacturers, on board parts suppliers, airlines and MRO crews. In addition, the appointment of Christophe Dissaux as Executive Vice President in charge of business development and marketing will aid the growth strategy of the business, following the capital investment of €3.6m in June 2012 from Idinvest Partners and Entrepreneur Venture. MAINtag’s RFID traceability solution, FLYtag, designed to optimize the operations of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), was selected by Airbus in 2010 and is supported and deployed for providers of the A350 XWB in Europe and in North and South America. Now, more than 50 OEM suppliers rely on MAINtag solutions including THALES, Zodiac, AOA, Diehl, MBDA, Safran and Goodrich.
