STTS first purposely built paint facility opens in Africa

STTS Group, a European expert in painting of aircraft will celebrate the opening of the first purposely built paint hangar at Casablanca’s Airport, Mohammed 5th, Morocco, on May 8th. Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and STTS Group decided in 2013 to set up a joint venture to answer to a growing demand of high quality and cost efficient paint services tailored for the A320 and B737 narrow body market. Through this partnership, STTS Group brings a high-tech insert in an existing 50 year old hangar capable of painting services up to VVIP level whereas RAM is able to fulfil all EASA and FAA requirements related to these painting services and beyond: full MRO services as well as state-of the-art interior services ranging from deep cleaning, full cabin refurbishing and repair up to re-configuration.
