Delta names Peter Carter Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer

Delta Air Lines has named Peter Carter Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, effective July 13th. He will replace Richard “Ben” Hirst who will retire in February 2016. Carter joins the airline from the international law firm of Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis where he served as chairman of the board and as a trial partner.
