In the 2nd quarter of 2015, Embraer delivered 27 commercial and 33 executive (26 light and 7 large) jets. Deliveries in the first half of 2015 were 47 commercial jets and 45 executive (36 light and 9 large) jets. During the 2nd quarter the Company announced 102 firm orders for the current and second generation of the E-Jets commercial jets, reaching a total of 124 firm orders year-to-date. Embraer’s firm order backlog ended the 2nd quarter at US$22.9bn, the highest in Embraer’s history. This compares to a backlog of US$20.4bn at the end of the first quarter 2015 and US$20.9bn at the end of 2014. As a result of aircraft deliveries, coupled with revenues from the Company’s Defense & Security business, 2nd quarter revenues were US$ 1,513.2m, EBIT and EBITDA margins were 6.8% and 11.7%, respectively, in the 2nd quarter and net income attributable to Embraer shareholders and earnings per basic ADS totaled US$129.3m and US$0.7096, respectively. Embraer generated US$72.7m in free cash flow during the 2nd quarter.
