Gogo partners with IAG for in-flight connectivity

Gogo (GOGO), a global leader in providing broadband connectivity solutions and wireless entertainment to the aviation industry, will partner with International Airlines Group (IAG) to bring Gogo’s 2Ku technology to 118 British Airways, four Aer Lingus Boeing 757 and up to 15 Iberia long-haul aircraft. IAG is the first European airline group to commit to Gogo’s 2Ku technology. The fleet of Gogo-installed aircraft will include numerous long-haul aircraft types, including the Boeing 787 and Airbus A380. The first British Airways aircraft is expected to be in service early next year. The bulk of the installations are expected to be completed by 2019.
