At the MRO Asia Pacific 2025 in Singapore, Turkish Technic and Garuda Indonesia have signed two multi-year agreements for the overhaul of landing gear on several Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft. This strategic partnership is designed to enhance Garuda Indonesia’s operational efficiency and reliability by leveraging Turkish Technic’s decades of expertise and technical know-how in landing gear overhaul services.
The agreement builds on the trust and close cooperation forged between the two companies, who had already established component pool service agreements last year. By entering into this long-term arrangement, Garuda Indonesia will be able to benefit from improved turnaround times, reduced maintenance costs, and strengthened operational resilience — all vital factors in ensuring the airline’s continued recovery and competitiveness in a challenging market.
In a parallel development, Turkish Technic has also expanded its footprint in Indonesia through a new multi-year agreement with Citilink, a low-cost subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia. Under the terms of this agreement, Turkish Technic will provide comprehensive landing gear overhaul services for several Airbus A320ceo and Airbus A320neo aircraft in Citilink’s fleet.
This latest collaboration reflects Citilink’s continued confidence in Turkish Technic’s globally recognised expertise and consolidates the MRO provider’s position as a trusted solutions partner for airlines worldwide. Commenting on the agreement, Darsito Hendroseputro, President and CEO of Citilink, said:
“We are delighted to develop a partnership with Turkish Technic in aircraft maintenance. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to providing the highest standard of aircraft component support for our A320 fleet, ensuring safe and comfortable air travel for our passengers.”
