Airbourne Colours, an aircraft painting and refinishing specialist, has announced a new partnership with Austrian Airlines to deliver a comprehensive painting programme for the airline’s Airbus A320 fleet.
Under the agreement, ten aircraft will be repainted at Airbourne Colours’ East Midlands Airport paint facility, marking a strong start to 2026 for the company’s aircraft painting services.
The programme is already underway, with a series of back-to-back aircraft inputs ensuring a full and busy first quarter for the Airbourne team. The project further strengthens Airbourne Colours’ reputation as a trusted partner to leading international carriers, reflecting its clear understanding of customer requirements to protect assets and enhance brand identity while minimising downtime.
In addition to its East Midlands base, Airbourne Colours operates two dedicated paint hangars at Teesside International Airport, following the opening of a second facility in November 2025. Together, these sites reinforce the company’s position as a leading independent aircraft painting provider in the UK.
