Ramco Systems has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Safran Helicopter Engines, to integrate Safran engine data with Ramco Aviation Software.
Under the agreement, engine information generated following shop visits will flow directly from Safran into Ramco Aviation Software’s Maintenance Information System, reducing manual data entry and enabling helicopter operators to focus on keeping aircraft in service. The collaboration is expected to result in Ramco receiving Safran Helicopter Engines’ EngineLife® Connect label, which recognises connectivity solutions compatible with Safran’s products and services.
Under the MoU, Ramco Systems and Safran Helicopter Engines will work to integrate engine configuration, usage and maintenance data directly into Ramco Aviation Software. The partnership will establish a reliable two-way data exchange, supported by compatible formats and operational processes.
For operators, the integration is expected to reduce the time and effort required to enter engine data into the Maintenance Information System, while improving the accuracy, quality and consistency of information used for airworthiness management and maintenance planning.
