Liebherr-Aerospace has been selected by Taiwan-based China Airlines to provide exchange and overhaul services for the nose landing gear on its fleet of 18 Airbus A350 aircraft.
Under the agreement, Liebherr-Aerospace will provide asset exchange services to support the airline’s maintenance planning and fleet availability.
“China Airlines is our launch customer in Asia for the A350 nose landing gear overhaul programme,” said Joël Cadaux, General Manager Aerospace at Liebherr-Singapore.
The agreement reflects the companies’ focus on long-term cooperation and operational performance, Cadaux said, adding that the landing gear exchange solution would help China Airlines maximise fleet availability while maintaining safety and reliability standards.
The A350 nose landing gear system was developed, manufactured and certified by Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, the Liebherr group company responsible for flight controls, landing gear systems, gears, gearboxes and electronics.
