Av8, a Victor Sierra company, has signed a five-year landing gear maintenance agreement with private aviation provider Wheels Up, covering overhaul and exchange support for its Embraer Phenom 300 fleet.
Wheels Up operates one of the world’s largest Phenom 300 fleets and expects to expand its operations. Av8 will provide support through its landing gear exchange pool, which it describes as the industry’s largest, enabling aircraft to return to service without waiting for individual components to complete overhauls.
The programme is backed by more than 300 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) approvals for the Phenom platform and a portfolio of in-house repair procedures approved under the RSDER framework.
Av8’s recently acquired pool of rotatable inventory will enable it to support the agreement from the outset, avoiding disruption to Wheels Up’s operations.
The five-year deal underscores both companies’ commitment to a long-term partnership as Wheels Up expands its fleet.
