flydocs has completed the migration and go-live of its Lifecycle Asset Management (LAM) solution for Porter Airlines, making the Canadian carrier the first LAM customer in the Americas.
The deployment builds on Porter’s existing flydocs Digital Records Management (DRM) platform, extending the airline’s digital asset management capabilities to improve fleet oversight and operational efficiency.
By integrating the DRM and LAM platforms, Porter Airlines will be better equipped to manage lease return requirements using predictive analytics and scenario modelling. The system is designed to support maintenance planning, optimise costs and reduce the risk of penalties during aircraft transitions.
The project also strengthens Porter’s collaboration with Lufthansa Technik’s Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem – Swiss AviationSoftware, developer of the AMOS maintenance and engineering platform. Alongside the LAM implementation, the partners have launched Tech Ops Live, providing real-time fleet visibility through a single mobile application.
The platform gives operational teams access to a consolidated view of fleet status, maintenance progress, operational KPIs and lease return information, supporting faster and more informed decision-making.
