Werner Aero has completed the acquisition of two Embraer E190 aircraft, further expanding its E-Jet portfolio and strengthening its position in the global aviation aftermarket.
The first aircraft, MSN 19000050, has been delivered to Toulouse Francazal Airport in France for dismantling, while the second, MSN 19000600, was acquired from AerCap and is currently located in Greenwood, Mississippi, where it will also undergo dismantling.
Both aircraft will form part of Werner Aero’s ongoing teardown programme, enabling the recovery of serviceable components and expanding the company’s inventory of aircraft spare parts. The acquisitions reinforce Werner Aero’s commitment to providing airlines, MRO providers, lessors and other aviation aftermarket customers worldwide with reliable access to quality aircraft components.
“This acquisition further strengthens our aircraft portfolio and supports our continued commitment to providing customers with quality components and aftermarket solutions,” said Tony Kondo, President & CEO of Werner Aero. “The Embraer E-Jet platform remains an important part of our teardown program, and this aircraft will help us continue meeting the evolving needs of our customers around the world.”
