Kenya Airways has selected the GEnx-1B engine to power its nine firm Boeing 787 Dreamliners with an option for four additional aircraft. The firm engine order is valued at $380 million list price.
Boeing and Angola flag carrier TAAG Linhas Aereas de Angola (Angola Airlines) finalized an order for three additional 777-300ER (Extended Range) airplanes. The order, valued at $895m at list prices, also includes purchase rights for three additional 777-300ERs.
AWAS has delivered two additional Boeing 737-300 passenger aircraft to low-cost carrier VivaAerobus. This is the fifth and sixth 737 Classic that AWAS has delivered to the Monterrey, Mexico-based airline. VivaAerobus operates an all-737 fleet offering intra-Mexico and international flights.

Silver Airways has received approval from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to operate Saab 340Bplus aircraft. The Fort Lauderdale-based airline initiated scheduled passenger service utilizing the new aircraft type, on March 29th, 2012, along its Florida-Bahamas route network.
Bristol Associates, as remarketing agent for Continental Airlines, has completed the sale and delivery of an additional Continental owned 1997 vintage B737-524 aircraft (28907) to BLF Limited (Bermuda). The aircraft will be operated by UTAir (Surgut, Russia).
Embraer and British Airways signed a contract for the sale of one more EMBRAER 190 (E190) jet. The aircraft will be operated by London City Airport (LCY)-based BA CityFlyer, British Airways’ wholly owned regional subsidiary. When delivered during the third quarter of 2012, it will bolster the airline’s total fleet size to 14 E-Jets.
Macquarie AirFinance has purchased one Embraer 190 AR aircraft from Jetscape Aviation Group. The aircraft, originally delivered in 2009, is powered by General Electric 34-10E7 engines and is subject to a long-term lease to Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, S.A.
ILFC has completed an agreement to expand its partnership with Grupo Aeromexico by adding two additional new Boeing 787-8 aircraft bringing the total leased from ILFC to five. The aircraft, equipped with GEnx engines, are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2014.
